Along the Swan – A Film by Kait Boyle & Kurt Refsnider
What if one of your favorite trails had a voice? What would it say? What story would it tell? “Along the Swan” shares the story of the unbelievably stunning Alpine Trail #7 in northern Montana and the dedication of a small group of mountain bikers (including Revelate ambassadors Kait Boyle and Kurt Refsnider) who want to ensure the backcountry trail continues to be passable, a goal borne out of a shared vision of being able to ride the full length of the 75-mile range-crest trail in a single day.
“Along the Swan” is a short film by Kait Boyle and Kurt Refsnider (of the Industry Nine – Pivot Pro Backcountry Team), made possible with support from Küat Racks, Revelate Designs, and more. Kaitlyn’s love of wide-open spaces and wild places has inspired her to create a life filled with skis, ropes, boats, and packs as she has adventured and taught adventure education throughout the American West. She began cycling while recovering from a climbing injury, toured the GDMBR not long after, and has been an avid bikepacker ever since, tackling long, exploratory bikepacking routes across the west and internationally, and pursuing riding fast and light on the side. In 2018, she took home the women’s record for the AZT300, cementing her place in endurance racing.
